The config which stores the bots spawn location data is saved to \sourcemod\data\l4d2_holdout.cfg. items_not_to_avoid = 1 means that the addon tells the vanilla AI to avoid any weapon except the ones in the itemstoavoid.txt file, so if you add the pistols there the vanilla AI should be allowed to pick them up. pickups_wep_always is just to tell the addon to pick up weapons always or only while executing an order. There are workshop add - ons that exist that make the bot A.I smarter & teleport MUCH less often . It CAN be done by Valve to improve the bots , since the workshop V.P.K files are coded for Source engine . But I doubt they would take the time now to officially improve the bots for the official dedicated servers . signal_min_interval is the minimum wait time (in seconds) for repeating signals (2 or more signals for the same item type, regardless the source bot). The signal will be in the form of vocalization (like "Pills here" etc.). If signal_chat is non 0, they will also chat it. I noticed the survivor bots love to stay close together, whats the cvar commands you can put in your server.cfg to make them spread out more? Or just improve them in general.
